GIS Analyst

Within this role as a Geospatial Analyst, you will be required to develop cutting-edge Geographic Information Systems (GIS) projects. You will have a strong background in GIS technology, software development, and an ability to manage complex projects. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary design team to design, develop, and implement GIS applications that meet the needs of our clients.

The role:

  • Develop and implement GIS software solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient GIS applications.
  • Integrate GIS with other technologies to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Conduct spatial analysis and create detailed maps and visualisations.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all GIS data.
  • Provide technical guidance to design leads across the business.
  • Stay up to date with the latest GIS technologies and development practices.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have working knowledge of navigating through QGIS and ArcGIS.
  • You are proficient in utilizing QGIS and ArcGIS to construct GIS models from the ground up.
  • You have knowledge and understanding of the Engineering industry.
  • Proven experience working in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geology, Geography, or a related field.
