Associate Director – Transport – WFH Available

Are you an experienced Transport Planner who is looking to take the next step in your career?

Do you have the technical skills and desire to accept more responsibility on some exciting and challenging schemes and also have the desire to develop a team of Transport Planners of all levels?

As an Associate Director Transport Planner, you will be involved in a variety of projects for a range of public and private sector clients. You will help drive these projects to successful completion whilst also undertake business development, preparation of fee estimates and winning new project work in the London and Southeast area.

Reporting to a Regional Director, you will support the delivery of projects effectively to strict deadlines, whilst maintaining technical performance standards.

The Role:

  • Business Development
  • Fee estimates and winning work
  • Team development
  • Preparing Transport Assessments / Transport Statements
  • Trip generation calculations
  • Capacity assessments using Picady and Arcady
  • Preparing Active Travel Plans
  • Construction Logistic Plans
  • Servicing Management Plans
  • Preliminary Access Design

What you need to succeed:

  • Ideally you will also hold a Degree (Masters/Bachelors or equivalent) in a related discipline
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution (such as TPS, CIHT or similar)
  • Good communication skills when working with both project teams and clients
  • Ability to apply assessment and numerical skills to project work
  • Strong written and numerical presentation skills
