As an Associate Structural Engineer, you’ll lead a skilled and supportive team, managing projects across a variety of sectors including residential, healthcare, education, social housing, and industrial. This role offers you the chance to shape the future of their Structures team in Bristol, working on high-impact projects and contributing directly to the growth and reputation of the business.
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership and client management skills. You’ll be confident in overseeing projects from initial concept through to completion, mentoring junior engineers, and developing lasting client relationships. What You Need To Succeed
- Proven leadership ability managing a team of engineers and technicians.
- Strong project management skills from concept to completion across multiple sectors.
- Solid technical design experience in all common building materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry).
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to win work and maintain key relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines within the company.
- A passion for mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Chartered with IStructE or ICE.
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
