Are you a Civil 3D Technician with looking to explore global infrastructure projects? Our client is hiring within their leading Bath office. Work typically includes drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks and other utility co-ordination.
This consultancy provides expert services in urban growth and development through masterplanning services, from city-scale to campus and neighbourhood development.
As a global engineering and consultancy practice, their infrastructure team uses local and international best practices to deliver integrated systems, including energy, water, digital infrastructure, mobility planning and highways.
A large part of your role will be working on various utility projects, this includes disconnections, diversions, and network design for water, gas, electricity, communication, district heating, and drainage.

The role
- You’ll be managing Common Data Environments using for e.g., BIM360, SharePoint & Aconex.
- Compiling BIM Execution Plans.
- Support the civil infrastructure design and masterplanning, from concept stage through to construction using GIS tools.
- Supporting & mentoring junior members of the infrastructure team with day-to-day tasks.
What you need to succeed
- A technical background in infrastructure design, demonstrating technical design expertise in highways, utilities and earthworks.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Civils 3D.
- Demonstrable working knowledge of BIM processes and standards such as PAS1192-2.
- An ability to undertake design tasks with minimal supervision, good communication skills, and willingness to interact will all members of the team.
- Previous experience line managing Civil Infrastructure Technicians.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD.
- A technical member of a relevant institution or actively working towards professional registration status.
