Civil Design Engineer

We have an opening for a Civil Engineer with 2 years’ experience to join our clients Central London office. They have a legacy of Engineers, Architects and Clients who deliver exceptional building and infrastructure projects.

The ideal Engineer for this position would need to be passionate, have a strong technical design and understand the construction process. Being able to work independently when required and to be able to collaborate in an inclusive environment is vital. You can expect to work on a range of small residential projects up to extensions and large complex development projects.

What you need to succeed

Having experience in delivering some or all the following:

• Below ground drainage using SuDs
• Liaison with local authorities to obtain agreements for standards within highways & drainage
• Experience in using: AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Microdrainage
• External levels and hardstanding build up design
• Retrofitting existing networks and sitewide design
• Drainage statements & Flood Risk Assessments
• Design of private roads and adoptable standards
• Vehicle tracking
