What you need to succeed
- MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering
- A commitment to the pursuit of becoming a chartered professional and continuous professional development (CPD).
- Experience in the use of hydraulic modelling software, such as MicroDrainage.
- Experience in residential road and levels design.
- Experience in the regulatory approvals process for drainage and highways. For example, Section 106 and Section 278 type applications.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Strong numerical, analysis and design skills.
- Planned and organised in your approach to work and meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous post graduate experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
- A full driver’s licence would be an advantage.
- A well-mannered and professional individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
