Civil Engineer – Water & Utilities

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic Civil Engineer to join our clients growing team. Working within a dynamic team and overseen by a Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer.

You will contribute to the delivery of the Civil Engineering design on a range of challenging projects across the water sector. This includes but not limited to: New and replacement potable water mains, foul drainage including CSO remediation works, and both Sustainable Urban Drainage and conventional surface water drainage design.

Skills…

• 3+ years’ experience in the Water Industry with potable, surface, and foul water design and/or construction.
• Civil Engineering degree – Preferably a Masters.
• Have measurable progression with or be willing to work towards Professional Qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers or Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental
• Adept at 3D design and modelling using software such as MicroDrainage and/or
• InfoDrainage.
• Water Authority statutory approval processes such as S104, S106 etc.
• SuDS Approval Body involvement.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects ensuring prioritisation of tasks and deliverables to ensure effective delivery.
• Ability to work using own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
