Civil Technician

Are you a Civil3D Technician looking for a fantastic role that offers progression? This consultancy is looking for a technician to join their Manchester office.

This consultancy is expanding their workload and need a technician to perform at a high standard to keep company standards. This role is available for a Technician who is looking to grow and develop in a well-respected consultancy.

The role:

• Knowledge of all approval processes including S104, S38 and S278
• To be able to identify site constraints, design of public highways and drainage systems
• Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion
• Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process
• Appropriate qualification in civil engineering
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint
• Supporting and developing junior staff members

What you need to succeed:

• Educated to HNC/HND or Degree level in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years’ design experience in the civils sector
• Excellent report writing, communication and numerical skills required
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D would be advantageous but not essential
• Proficient in the use of Micro Drainage along with good working knowledge SUDs
