The successful candidate will have knowledge on Sustainable Urban Drainage Solutions (SuDS), Flood Risk, Drainage, and infrastructure. You will be working on a range of different sized projects across the UK.

The role:
- A key element to the role will be undertaking foul and surface water drainage strategies in conjunction with the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
- A good understanding of SuDS is also critical for this role.
- An understanding of the design process from inception to construction of drainage and flood alleviation schemes will be critical in the discharging your duties in this role.
- You will be expected to undertake site visits from time to time to inform projects.
- This is a client-facing role and you can expect to be active on a number of projects/client accounts at any given time.
- You will be expected to support senior members of staff as well as checking and verifying technical work.
- You will assist with and separately produce fee proposals.
What you need to succeed:
- You will need three to five years’ post graduate experience.
- Civil3D or PDS, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage software experience.
- Client care is of paramount importance to us as a company and the successful candidate will be an able communicator, both in written English and verbally, in person and on the telephone.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, relevant design standards and basic health and safety is essential.
- A logical analytical approach to problem solving should be demonstrated.
- Specific experience in the use of AutoCAD for technical drawing will need to be demonstrated at interview.
- Experience in the use of Civil3D or PDS, and InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage is required.
