What you need to succeed:

• To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or other relevant subject, and be a member of an industry relevant institution e.g. ICE, CIWEM.
• You will have previous experience leading projects in an urban drainage environment.
• Successful candidates will demonstrate technical experience covering a wide range of urban drainage modelling activities and a full working knowledge of InfoWorks ICM.
• You will provide guidance, training, and promote staff development and wellbeing within the discipline. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills through report writing, developing and delivering presentations (external and internal), and making contacts in the industry.
• Must have extensive UK water industry experience
• Able to commute to our Edinburgh office and be present 3 days per week
• Happy to be flexible on rates, all inside IR35
• Likely initial 6 months, with potential to extend
