Contract Senior Civil Engineer

This consultancy is based in Manchester and is looking for a Contract Civil Engineer. This role is hybrid and over the period of  year with chance to extend the contract.

This is a great opportunity with a trusted consultancy in Manchester to get experience on a wide range of projects and utilise your knowledge.

The role:

• Production of Flood Risk Assessments for planning applications.  
• Surface water management plans. 
• Drainage impact assessments.  
• Drainage strategy and detailed SuDS designs. 
• Contribute to Geo-environmental Investigation reports. 

What you need to succeed:

• HND or BSc in Civil Engineering or Hydrology, or similar.  
• 4 years + experience within a UK based consultancy or Local Authority role completing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage design.  
• Experience with Microsoft applications, AutoCAD, Masterdrain, GiS software or similar. 
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. 
• High motivation for this specific opportunity. 
• Self-motivated team player with exceptional people skills.
• Ability to work under own initiative while fully co-ordinating with line manager’s requirements. 
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Full UK driving licence.
