CONTRACT – Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their consultancy on a full time contract basis. You’ll be working on a variety of residential, commercial and industrial based projects across London and surround areas.

The role

• Be responsible for the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes.
• Undertake and/or assist in the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements.
• Undertake site appraisals and feasibility studies.
• Undertake concept and detailed Civil Engineering design.
• Undertake Flood Risk Assessments (FRA), Surface and Foul Water Drainage Strategies and Design, Sustainable Urban Design Solutions – for basements, public realm, site wide, to appropriate local planning policies and guidelines, Part L of the Building Regulations and Sewers for Adoption.

What you need to succeed

• A minimum of 5 years of experience within a UK design consultancy
  Chartered/incorporated Status.
• Ability to obtain client feedback efficiently.
• A strong commercial awareness and master planning experience across all sectors including infrastructure, industrial, and develop masterplan for submission to planning.
