Drainage Engineer – Flexible / Part-Time (15–20 Hours per Week)

We are working with a number of engineering design consultancies who require additional Drainage Engineering support on a flexible basis.
This is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to provide technical input without committing to a full-time position.
The Opportunity
You will support live residential and mixed-use schemes at planning and technical stage, helping teams manage workload peaks and maintain programme momentum.
Key Responsibilities

Flood Risk Assessments (FRA)
-
Residential drainage design (surface & foul)
-
Section 278/S38 works experience
-
Planning & technical stage packages
-
Liaison with local authorities, LLFAs and statutory undertakers
About You

Proven experience in residential drainage design

Strong understanding of UK planning and adoption processes

Comfortable working independently and managing deliverables

Experience with relevant software (e.g. Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage or similar)
