As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will be required to prepare and input to different stages of Geo-Environmental and Ground Engineering deliverables, supporting the company’s growth on all aspects of projects including public, infrastructure, life sciences, nuclear and aviation.

The role:
- Undertake various assessments, preparing reporting and supporting on all geo-environmental tasks as required
- Keep up to date with Geo-Environmental design trends / customer awareness / design techniques.
- Review specialist subcontractor’s reports for technical compliance with design intent.
- Represent BakerHicks on site visits where required.
- Support the development of Geo-Environmental service capabilities across BakerHicks’ geographic locations.
What’s on offer:
- A degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or another relevant subject.
- Working towards Chartership with an appropriate body (GeolSoc, ICE, IMMM, CIWEM etc)
- Some experience within a Geo-Environmental / Engineering Consultancy
- Experience supporting preparation of Phase 1 and Phase 2 geo-environmental technical reports, including Ground Gas risk assessment
- Scheduling of Geo-Environmental laboratory testing.
- Production of Ground Investigation Specifications
- Experience supervising ground investigation activities
