Graduate Civil Engineer

Our client is looking for a Graduate Engineer who has 2+ years’ experience who wants to progress within the company. You will need to have ambitions into becoming Chartered and becoming a Senior member of the team. This consultancy has an office in Derby and is offering a hybrid role.

Minimum requirements:

• Accredited First Class/2:1 Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
• Graduate Member of appropriate professional body (ICE or IStructE)
• Ambitions to become a Chartered Engineer
• 2/3 years experience is ideal

The role:

• Undertake assignments in the UK and overseas, as directed.
• Adopt procedures for standardisation of work products and deliverables, and peer review to ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery of the Company’s technical work product.
• Structural design, assessments and finite elements analysis using various software.
• Structural inspection and onsite works supervision in the UK and overseas
• Adhere to Company procedures in the management, delivery, and administration of Services.
• Embrace organisational change and appropriately modify behaviour and attitudes as required.
• Have an understanding and awareness of the company values and business plan and your contribution to both.
• Observe and maintain Company Health and Safety Policy across all activities.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by your assignment or line manager.
