We’re working with a well known client with offices across the UK, they are a well‑regarded structural and civil engineering consultancy, to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer for their Leeds office.

The Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you’ll join an established team and support the delivery of structural engineering services across multiple sectors. The role will involve:
- Assisting with the design and analysis of structures using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Preparing calculations, sketches, and technical information
- Supporting senior engineers with project coordination and delivery
- Attending site visits and design meetings where required
- Developing your understanding of UK design standards and best practice
- Progressively taking on more responsibility as your experience grows
Candidate Requirements
Our client is looking for a motivated graduate with a strong interest in buildings and structural design. Suitable candidates will typically have:
- A degree (or expected degree) in Structural Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work well within a collaborative team environment
Previous consultancy, placement, or internship experience is advantageous but not essential.
