We have an opening for a passionate Hydraulic Modeller to join our clients award winning team with their Basingstoke office on a full time hybrid working basis. They have been producing results in the industry for over 15 years and have a diverse range of businesses in the development industry, each with their own unique needs, goals and challenges.

Their experience is exceeding expectations across a vast array of services, including transport planning, infrastructure planning, flood risk & river modelling, civil engineering design and highways design.

What you need to succeed

• Competency in Flood Modeller Pro, Flood Modeller Pro – TUFLOW linked models, ESTRY-TUFLOW linked models and HEC-RAS.
• Skilled use of QGIS and ArcMap, and competency in MapInfo.
• Interpreting results from hydraulic models and preparing technical reports.
• Project management/client liaison and mentoring graduates.
• Building complex hydraulic models in InfoWorks ICM.
• Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Strategic Flood Risk Assessments would also be an added advantage.
• Hydrological modelling in WINFAP-FEH (Statistical analysis), ReFH2, and application of other hydrological methods.
• Building large, complex hydraulic models in InfoWorks ICM would be an added advantage.
