Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and forward-thinking engineering consultancy based in Clerkenwell, known for delivering innovative structural solutions across a variety of sectors.

Their portfolio includes project values up to and above £100m, working in sectors such as residential development, life sciences/laboratories, commercial and industrial/logistics – delivering designs for both new build and refurbishment.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated engineer with strong technical expertise and a proven track record in delivering complex structural designs. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, provide innovative engineering solutions, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. What You Need To Succeed

• Ability to lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from initial concept through to final delivery.
• Competent conducting detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of building structures.
• Passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Confidence to engage with clients to understand project requirements and provide expert advice.
• Confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly and simply to a range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot and/or MasterSeries.
• Chartered with IStructE or ICE.
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
