NEC4 Supervisor

Our client is seeking a diligent and experienced NEC Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction supervision and a keen eye for detail.

The NEC4 ECC Supervisor will work closely with the NEC4 Project Manager and Client Project Manager, fostering a collaborative environment for timely and budget-aligned delivery in accordance with the Contract.

What you need to succeed:

• Relevant construction experience and a good understanding of construction methods.
• NEC4 Supervisor or NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation
• Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
•  Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs Proven experience as an NEC Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and construction processes
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

The role:

• Make regular visits to the project site to perform visual inspections of workmanship and materials.
• Ensure that the construction aligns with contract documents and complies with Health & Safety standards.
• Attend all testing and inspection processes to verify compliance with the contract.
• Recommend additional testing and inspections as necessary.
• Site Diary Maintenance:
• Keep a detailed daily site diary recording activities, personnel, equipment, materials, and photographic progress.
• Defects Notification:
• Identify and notify defects according to the contract and issue defects certificates on behalf of the Employer.
• NEC Contract Management Support:
• Assist the NEC4 Project Manager and NEC4 Supervisor in fulfilling their contractual responsibilities.
• Ensure timely interventions and actions related to Project Manager Instructions, Compensation Events, and Early Warnings.
