The successful candidate will design a variety of infrastructure schemes on some of the largest and most prestigious developments in the UK. Your role will be to lead the design and delivery of those major civil infrastructure projects, providing expert consultation and technical leadership, and ensuring design and operational excellence in all civil engineering activities.

What you need to succeed
- Minimum HND/C in Civil Engineering or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline desirable.
- Ideally Chartered with ICE or equivalent body is desirable.
- Must have experience of producing preliminary and detailed Highway design.
- The ability to design Drainage (s104 / s98 Water Act) both strategic and detailed, foul pumping stations, SUDS, flow control structures and balancing facilities is essential.
- Must have experience of designing Residential and Commercial external works design including earthworks assessments.
- Experience of producing technical reports, assessments, statements, and fee proposals is required.
- Experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians within the team is required.
- Candidate must have the ability to oversee project delivery from proposal to practical completion, ensuring quality, cost, and time objectives are met.
- Experience of managing and cultivating client relationships and coordinating with stakeholders is desired.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies, and legislation (e.g. CDM and UK Building Regulations) is essential.
- Strong understanding of design software such as AutoCAD and MicroDrainage (InfoDrainage) is essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills is required.
