Principal Structural Engineer

We are excited to be working with a fantastic design consultancy who are looking to expand the team in their new Manchester office and are looking for someone ready to have a great influence on the business.

As part of a small but ambitious team, our client are in search of a well-rounded individual with the enthusiasm and motivation to grow into an expanding role, supporting their technical delivery.

A key part of this role is the ability and desire to lead multi-disciplinary projects. Link will fully support this adaptable person in their development across various disciplines, sectors, and clients.

What You Will Need To Succeed:

• BEng or MSc in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• A minimum of six years experience working on at a UK based design consultancy.
• Chartered or close to Chartered with ICE or IStructE.
• Taking technical ownership of the production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents produced by self, or coordinating and reviewing work produced by others.
• Proficient in Structural Software including AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla.
• Familiarity with design guides and standards.
•  To help promote the business and explore business development opportunities.
