The Role
- Contribute to developing the technical win strategy for key target bids
- Embed best practice bid strategy, process, management and production
- Write and edit submissions for key target bids
- Arrange and facilitate independent reviews on answer plans and final draft submissions
- Work collaboratively with bid directors, bid managers and other internal stakeholders involved in or contributing to work winning, including commercial team, skills networks, marketing & BD team, and other business units to guide best practice for use in bids
- Guide bid teams preparing for behavioural assessments and interviews if necessary
- Identify and share technical and operational innovations that contribute to winning work
- Support those involved in winning work to use systems and information more collaboratively
- Keep abreast/ ahead of procurement trends and address them in our bids
- Support relationship management with key clients, contractors, and other business partners

What you need to succeed
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject
- Knowledge of UK construction industry and key players
- Experience of working in multi-party teams
- Experience of using desktop publishing software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Possible background experience would also include: Defence / Public Sector. Including Rail, Highways, Water and Energy
- Experience of running multiple bids
