Revit Technician

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with structural engineers and architects to produce high-quality structural Revit models and drawings.
• Create detailed 3D models of structural systems, including foundations, framing, and connections.
• Produce construction documents, including plans, sections, and details, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with other disciplines using BIM tools.
• Assist in the preparation of design reports, specifications, and construction administration documents.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in Revit technology.
• Participate in design meetings and communicate effectively within project teams.

What you need to succeed:

• 3-5 years of experience in structural drafting and modelling using Revit, ideally within an engineering or architectural firm.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.
• Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of codes and standards related to structural engineering is a plus.
• Experience with other software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, or Tekla Structures is advantageous.
