Senior Bridge Engineer

​We are looking for you to bring to our client your passion and flair to work within the bridge sector on design, inspection & assessment and project management, by taking an active role on multi-discipline bids and projects in both the public and private sector.

Currently, they are involved with several interesting and high-profile civil structures projects including a variety of local authority and contractor framework agreements, giving a strong and secured future workload.

​Based out of their Manchester office, they will look at you to get involved in bridge and civil structural design, inspection and assessment and by supervising and assisting others in accordance with senior management requirements.

The Role:

  • Liaising with clients to identify their specific requirements.
  • Delivering quality technical design, assessment and inspection reports in line with national standards and the client specific brief.
  • Promoting where applicable innovative solutions.
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety requirements.

They have built very strong relationships and are at the forefront of the bridges industry and have a strong brand name within the industry.

To be successful in he role you will hold a relevant degree in civil or structural engineering, have the desire to achieve, (or have already achieved), chartered status, have awareness of relevant bridge and structural design software, able to design in major materials including RC, Steel, masonry and timber and able to write sound technical reports.
