Contract Senior / Principal Bridge Engineer

Due to recent project wins an exciting role has arisen for a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer in our clients growing bridge engineering team.

What you need to succeed:

HND, degree or masters level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Ideally IEng or CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution, e.g. ICE, IStructE.
Minimum 10 years bridge engineering experience including recent hands on bridge design.
Experienced in using MIDAS Bridge software.
Understanding and experience of Eurocodes and their application to bridge design.
Experienced in the design of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge structures.
Good understanding of CDM requirements.
Ability to work independently to produce high quality solutions for bridge projects, and to be able to apply engineering knowledge and principles to devise innovative solutions.
Good communication skills and ability to work alongside existing colleagues.
