The successful candidate will join a close-knit, highly skilled engineering team working on a varied portfolio of projects spanning residential, commercial, education, and refurbishment schemes. You’ll play a key role in both the technical delivery and leadership of projects, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors from concept through to completion. This role offers real autonomy, the chance to mentor junior engineers, and the opportunity to influence design decisions on impactful regional projects.

What You Need To Succeed
- Several years’ experience in structural design within a UK consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of design standards and UK building regulations.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, Tedds, or similar.
- Experience managing projects and liaising with clients and external teams.
- Ability to mentor and support junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Progressing towards or already holding Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE.
- A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
