An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering consultancy in their Clerkenwell office. This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering high-quality structural solutions across a diverse portfolio, while contributing to the continued expansion of a dynamic London team within a wider national business.
You will be joining a collaborative and ambitious team working predominantly on residential and commercial developments, with additional exposure to projects across sectors including education, retail, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Structural Engineer ready to step into a senior role, capable of leading projects from concept through to completion. You will be confident in your technical ability, comfortable liaising with clients, and motivated to contribute to both project delivery and team development.

What You Need To Succeed
- At least five years structural engineering design experience.
- Proven experience in structural design across residential and/or commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency with relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar).
- Ability to manage projects independently and deliver to deadlines.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with client-facing confidence.
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and design standards.
- Chartered Engineer status with the IStructE/ICE (or actively working towards) is highly desirable.
- A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
