Senior Structural Engineer

Our client, who is a leading international engineering consultancy known for delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of construction projects. They are committed to sustainability and engineering excellence, shaping iconic structures, and providing high-quality engineering services worldwide. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their London office.

You will have a minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience, preferably with a background in structural engineering. While experience in temporary works is welcome, it is not a strict requirement for this role. Join their dynamic London team and work on a variety of challenging projects while contributing your expertise to their global engineering initiatives.

The Role:

• Lead the structural design and analysis of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for complex structural engineering challenges.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Engage with clients to understand their project requirements and maintain strong client relationships.
• Utilise structural design software and analysis tools to perform calculations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.

What you need to Succeed:

• A minimum of 6 years of post-graduate experience in structural engineering
• Chartered Engineer status (CEng or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency in structural design software and analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of relevant British and international codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
