The role:
-
Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes at every stage.

Deliver schemes across industrial, residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors, meeting Building Regulations and industry standards.

Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated design solutions.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence.

Undertake structural inspections and assessments of new and existing properties, applying expertise in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.

Carry out structural analysis and design using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds), producing accurate technical outputs, drawings, and reports.

Prepare clear, professional documentation including structural survey reports and design deliverables.

Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging development and contributing to team growth.
What you’ll need to succeed:

Proven ability to manage projects independently from concept through to delivery.

Strong technical expertise in both new-build and refurbishment structures.

Experience working with a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.

A supportive approach to mentoring and developing junior engineers and technicians.

Proactive, hands-on attitude with a passion for high-quality structural design.

Excellent communication skills and confidence when working with clients, architects, and contractors.

Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, or similar).

Chartered status with IStructE or ICE (or working towards chartership with demonstrable progress).

Degree-qualified (MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering, or equivalent).
