Are you an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer aiming for progression to Associate? We are working with a design-led Structural Engineering practice based in Southwark. Known for delivering creative, practical and sustainable solutions, we work across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, cultural and community projects. We are now looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our growing team, with a clear pathway to progress to Associate level.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping and delivering exciting projects while working closely with our directors and a talented, collaborative team. You’ll lead on the design and coordination of schemes, contribute to the growth of the practice, and mentor junior engineers. Projects vary in scale and complexity, giving you the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise in concrete and other structural materials.
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with around six to eight years’ experience, ideally Chartered, who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you’re technically strong, confident working with clients and design teams, and ambitious to progress towards Associate level, this is an excellent opportunity.

What You Need To Succeed
- Six to eight years’ experience as a Structural Engineer, with UK practice experience.
- Strong technical design skills, with experience in concrete and other materials.
- Proven ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g. Tekla Tedds, Robot, or similar).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring juniors.
- Confidence in liaising directly with architects, clients and contractors.
- A proactive, ambitious mindset and enthusiasm for innovative engineering.
- Chartered or working towards Chartership with IStructE or ICE.
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
