We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport professional to join at Senior Transport Planner, to assist with both project delivery, and with client and project management activities within the Bristol office.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-known consultancy who are specialists in the residential, commercial, retail and energy on projects ranging from new to small scale landowner developments. Within this you’ll also be involved in work across both the private and public sectors.

The role
- Use professional judgement and personal initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions
- Deliver Vision Led Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans
- Develop client relationships to ensure the securing of work and negotiate fee proposals
- Plan and carry out client engagement activities with the full support of the wider team
- Ensuring the profitability of designated projects with support of Project Directors
- Continue to update personal knowledge of relevant technical, legal and policy changes
What you need to succeed
- Relevant degree (or higher) level qualification and membership of a relevant professional body (MCIHT or similar)
- Ideally 5+ years UK experience in the transport planning sector.
- Demonstrable experience at a comparable level within transport planning in a consultancy or similar environment
- Proven project delivery capabilities, along with client management skills
- Strong software modelling capabilities on relevant software packages, e.g. JUNCTIONS/ LINSIG.
