Structural Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a talented Structural Engineer with 3+ years’ experience with the opportunity to be working on a variety of sectors such as Commercial, Residential & Education to join their team based in Henley-On-Thames.

They are a well-established design consultancy with an elite reputation for providing high quality  engineering services. They deliver practical, commercial solutions for our clients and pride themselves on a creative, collaborative approach with hands-on partner involvement from conception to completion.

The Role:

• Undertake structural design work for a variety of building types, including residential, commercial, and educational structures.
• Produce high-quality engineering reports and calculations, using appropriate software packages and analytical methods.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that design requirements are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, as required.
• Participate in internal design reviews and ensure that design work is compliant with relevant codes and standards.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the design team, including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors.

What you need to succeed:

• 3+ years structural engineering experience, delivering high-quality projects.
• Experience across a variety of sectors such as commercial, educational, and residential.
• Experience of building structures and a knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and load bearing masonry structures.
• Experience with computer software– notably TEKLA Structural Designer, Robot and TEDDS. (Desirable not essential).
• Working towards chartership or the ambition to do so.
