Our client who are a well-respected design consultancy, looking for a artistic Structural Engineer with a minimum of three years’ post graduate experience to join their ever-growing team based in London Bridge. You will be sinking your teeth into exciting projects, working on array of sectors such as; residential, education, retail, leisure and commercial. Project values can range from £100k – £40m.

Responsibilities: 

• Preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conducting structural analysis and design for various building projects.
• Participating in site visits and inspections to assess structural integrity and resolve engineering challenges.
• Assisting in the review of project designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Collaborating with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and efficient design solutions.
• Utilising industry-standard software and tools to perform structural analysis and modelling.

Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience for a design consultancy based in the UK.
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience working with steel and concrete structures essential.
• Experience with masonry or timber frames desirable.
• Proficient in structural software such as: Tekla Structural Designer & Revit.
• Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam and Tekla Tedds is desirable.
• In-depth understanding of sustainable design principles and their application to structural engineering.
