We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer, to be based in Twickenham and work with an established national consultancy who have a healthy forward order book.
As a Structural Engineer, you will work within a talented and collaborative team of engineers and technicians, playing a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction, working on a variety of challenging projects that make a real impact on the built environment. This role offers you the chance to grow professionally, take on greater responsibilities, and work on high-profile developments.
We are looking for an engineer who has a strong technical background, with experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative engineering, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to liaise with clients and contractors. What You Need To Succeed
- Proven experience in structural design, with knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla, Tedds, or similar.
- Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations.
- Experience working on building projects from concept through to completion.
- Ability to produce detailed calculations, technical drawings, and reports.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients.
- Commitment to high-quality design and continuous professional development.
- Chartered (or working towards) with IStructE or ICE.
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
