We’re looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join a creative and collaborative practice based in Southwark, London. With around three years’ post-graduate experience, we are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with to join this growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing practice with a strong design ethos and a reputation for delivering elegant, practical and sustainable solutions.
As part of their close-knit team, you’ll be working directly alongside experienced engineers and directors on a diverse range of projects – from bespoke residential developments and commercial refurbishments to complex cultural and community schemes. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your design skills in concrete and other materials while being actively encouraged to take ownership of your work and progress quickly in a supportive, design-led environment.
We are looking for someone with solid experience designing with concrete, a strong technical grounding, and a genuine enthusiasm for innovative engineering. What You Need To Succeed
- Around three years’ post-graduate experience in Structural Engineering.
- Proven experience designing with concrete in a professional setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with structural design software (e.g. Tekla Tedds, Robot, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team and communicate clearly.
- Confidence in liaising with architects, contractors and clients.
- A proactive attitude, with the drive to take responsibility and learn.
- Working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE (preferred but not essential).
- MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
