Technical Coordinator | Tamworth

With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability, they’re looking for a Technical Coordinator to join the Tamworth team and help deliver exceptional developments.

The role 

As a Technical Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the technical aspects of our housing projects. You’ll ensure designs are practical, compliant, and cost-effective, while liaising with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to keep projects on track from planning through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical information between design, planning, and construction teams.

  • Manage external consultants (architects, engineers, surveyors) to ensure timely delivery of drawings and reports.

  • Review designs for compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and industry standards.

  • Support the Technical Manager in resolving design and construction challenges.

  • Ensure health, safety, and sustainability requirements are integrated into project designs.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project life cycle.

They’re looking for

  • Previous experience in a technical role within house building or construction.

  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning processes, and NHBC requirements.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software (advantageous).

  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering quality homes.
